I have also shared my experience being first time on these new feature that you can use as reference :
NEW FEATURE ONE : SELF PRINT TAG
Was using the Airasia web check in feature for my upcoming 48 hour Macau business travel trip.
- Upon completion of web check in, these instruction was pop up on my screen guiding thru the print out instruction.
- Print these out and fold the layout accordingly like the picture below :
- Bring it along to the baggage drop of counter to get a complimentary transparent luggage tag to hold it.
- Skip Step 3 if you are not checking in any luggage.
WHAT IF YOU HAVE NO PRINTER AT HOME? Don’t worry Airasia have Check In counter at the airport with Self Print Tag Service too, refer to visual below for guidance :
Important Note :
Counter check-in at klia2 will no longer be available from 18 May 2016 onwards. All guests are advised to conduct self check-in through the various options available, such as web check-in, mobile check-in and kiosk check-in (available at the airport) before proceeding to the Baggage Drop Counters, for guessing sts who have check-in baggage. Both web and mobile check-ins are available 14 days up to 1 hour before scheduled time of departure for AirAsia flights, while guests on AirAsia X flights will be able to conduct web or mobile check in 14 days up to 4 hours before their scheduled time of departure.
Be sure if you are early if you are taking AirAsia to avoid long que like this.
