AirAsia offers 20% discount exclusively on Mobile bookings

AirAsia today announced a 20% discount on all flights purchased via its mobile app and mobile website. This mobile exclusive is available from 3 June 2016 (0000, GMT +8) to 5 June 2016 (2400, GMT +8) for travel between 6 June 2016 and 30 September 2016.

The promo is applicable on all AirAsia and AirAsia X flights with flight codes AK (AirAsia Malaysia), D7 (Malaysia AirAsiaX), FD (AirAsia Thailand), XJ (Thai AirAsia X), QZ (AirAsia Indonesia), XT (Indonesia AirAsia X), PQ (AirAsia Philippines) and I5 (AirAsia India).

To enjoy the discount, guests booking via the mobile app or mobile website (mobile.airasia.com) only have to enter the “MOBILE20” promo code when prompted.

AirAsia Group Chief Commercial Officer Siegtraund Teh said, “AirAsia was one of the first airlines in the region to go mobile to give our customers the convenience of booking flights with ease, even while on the move.

“We developed a mobile app back in 2010, which has since been downloaded over 10 million times worldwide and won the World’s Leading Low-Cost Airline App award at the 2015 World Travel Awards. We also have a mobile website for those who have yet to download our app that features a clean, streamlined interface and maintains the same booking functionality as the full desktop site.

“As a thank you to our guests for making our mobile platforms such a success, we are offering 20% off all flights booked via mobile app and mobile website. We believe this also makes for an enticing welcome gift for guests who have yet to try our mobile offering.”

Paying for bookings has never been easier with BIG Pay, which lets guests securely store payment information for up to three debit or credit cards issued by Visa, MasterCard, American Express and JCB using data security standards certified by the Payment Card Industry-Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) Council.

Guests are encouraged to download the AirAsia mobile app, which allows convenient check-in and comes with a full suite of services. These include Manage My Booking, where guests can include various add-ons to their bookings easily, flight status check and e-boarding pass for use at selected airports.

The mobile app is available for iOS and Android devices in 11 languages – English, Bahasa Malaysia, Bahasa Indonesia, Traditional Chinese (Taiwan and Hong Kong), Simplified Chinese (China), Thai, Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese and Arabic.
